How to Register Domain with Google Domains

Register or transfer domain with same DNS servers as Google. Custom Email forwarding, sub-domains and Private registration at no additional cost.

Update: Google Domains itself isn’t currently registering new domains as of today. In September 7, 2023, Squarespace acquired the domain registration service from Google. Your domain name registration and DNS delegation won’t be affected by the migration to Squarespace. If you have already purchased domain from Google Domains service then, you’ll continue to have the ability to move your domain to another registrar prior to such transfer or at any time thereafter.

However, there are two options if you’d like to register a domain:

  1. Use Squarespace Domains: Squarespace is now the provider for domain registration that was previously offered by Google Domains. You can likely use your existing Google account to manage any domains you previously registered with Google Domains, and you can purchase new domains through Squarespace.
  2. Use a Different Domain Registrar: There are many other companies that offer domain registration services. A quick web search for “domain registrar” will provide you with a number of options.

Google had launched Google Domain (BETA) in various countries including India to provide domain registration or transfer services. However, Google Domains yet to announce officially for Indians. Indians will get Google Domains support through Help articles, forum, email, chat and request a call.
